About Your Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Matt McShane:

Dr. McShane grew up in Russellville, Arkansas.  He received his BS in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas, and earned his Doctorate from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Dentistry.  Dr. McShane went on to complete his four year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Nassau University Medical Center, a level one trauma center located in Long Island, New York.  He served as chief resident during his final year of training.  Dr. McShane is trained in the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with an emphasis on dentoalveolar surgery, IV sedation, dental implants, facial trauma and reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, and oral pathology.  Following residency, Dr. McShane obtained his board certification from the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. McShane and his wife Chelsea have 3 children, Arden, Will, and Henry.  They enjoy spending time as a family and value being a part of the Northwest Arkansas community.
